Dây hàn titan được sản xuất từ titan nguyên chất thương mại, chuyên dùng cho hàn TIG (thủ công và tự động) các chi tiết titan nguyên chất làm việc trong môi trường cực kỳ khắc nghiệt, cũng như hàn một số mối nối khác vật liệu giữa titan và hợp kim của nó hoặc với các kim loại khác. Đây là loại dây titan được sử dụng phổ biến nhất.
Sản phẩm được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong chế tạo bình áp lực, cột, bể chứa, bộ trao đổi nhiệt, trục, quạt, van, phụ kiện, ống ngưng tụ và hệ thống đường ống công nghiệp.
Do titan rất nhạy với oxy, nitơ và hydro ở nhiệt độ cao, quá trình hàn yêu cầu bề mặt vật liệu phải được làm sạch kỹ và sử dụng khí bảo vệ argon siêu tinh khiết (≥ 99,995%). Titanium welding wire is manufactured from commercially pure titanium and is specifically designed for TIG welding (manual and automatic) of pure titanium components operating in extremely demanding environments. It is also suitable for welding certain dissimilar joints between titanium and its alloys or with other metals. This is the most commonly used titanium welding wire.
The product is widely applied in the fabrication of pressure vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, shafts, fans, valves, fittings, condensers, and industrial piping systems.
As titanium is highly sensitive to oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen at elevated temperatures, welding requires thorough surface cleaning and the use of ultra-high purity argon shielding gas (≥ 99.995%). The weld zone and heat-affected area must be protected with inert gas until the temperature drops below approximately 400°C to prevent embrittlement and degradation of mechanical properties.
