Weld T 316L welding rods are low-carbon TIG filler rods for welding corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel-molybdenum steels.
They are suitable for acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant Cr-Ni-Mo steels, as well as chromium-nickel steels requiring high resistance to intergranular corrosion, for service temperatures up to 350°C.
The rods contain Cr (18–20%), Ni (11–13%), and Mo (2–2.5%). The low carbon content (~0.03%) provides excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and ensures stable performance at elevated temperatures.
They are widely used in petrochemical, food processing, and pulp and paper industries.
